Day by Day
The itinerary, as it usually runs
A working draft rather than a fixed schedule — we move days around for weather, festivals and how you are feeling.
Day 1
Arrive Addis Ababa
A cupping session in the roastery district to set the palate before the journey begins.
Days 2 – 3
Lake Tana
A private boat to Ura Kidane Mehret at first light, manuscripts shown by resident monks, and a slow afternoon on the water.
Days 4 – 6
Kaffa & Bonga forest
Wild coffee harvested and roasted under the canopy with a farming family, and nights spent in the forest itself.
Day 7
Addis & Departure
A walk through Mercato with a local chef, a final lunch, and an evening flight.
