Mount Guna Ascent
A 4,120-metre summit between Lake Tana and Lalibela that few visitors ever climb.
The Journey
2 nights, designed around the hours that matter
Guna rises above the town of Debre Tabor, the highest point of South Gondar and one of the least-visited high summits in the country. From a ridge at around 3,700 metres, a full day's walk leads past two false summits to its rocky top. It fits neatly between Bahir Dar and Lalibela on an overland route.
