A working draft rather than a fixed schedule — we move days around for weather, festivals and how you are feeling.
Day 1
Arrive Addis Ababa
A kit check and a working dinner covering light, logistics and portrait consent protocol.
Days 2 – 3
Lalibela
Dawn and dusk sessions in the rock churches on back-to-back days, skipping the flat midday hours entirely.
Days 4 – 5
Danakil Depression
Dallol at first light, salt caravans in the afternoon glow, and the Erta Ale caldera after dark.
Days 6 – 8
Omo Valley
Market days and invited portrait sessions with a mediator present, shot slowly and with genuine consent.
Day 9
Addis & Departure
A first pass at editing the trip over coffee, then an evening flight home.
